Smitten
So... I feel like such a dumbass cause I've been pretty smitten the past few days... :) But, what can I say, life his been simply wonderful. Oh, and I'm not talking about all this !$%*ing snow haha It's a good thing I have the courage to work for what I want and make it happen. :) Now if only I could figure out how to incorporate that into other areas of my life. Hmmm

Back in the groove... and Utah frustrations.
Ugh... snow after 4 days of 60+ degree weather?!? Welcome to Utah. Other than the disappointment with Mother Nature, whom I'd like to exchange a few strong choice words with, today was a really good day! I got a TON done, with the exception of going running. Damn. I've got to get BACK IN MY GROOVE tomorrow. I don't have class until 10:45 and I shouldn't be rushing around in the morning and I'm totally not allowed to sleep in! So yeah... tomorrow - back in the groove!
Alrighty, time for bed. :) Night!

Rainy Day :)
Today is a beautiful rainy day!! I love it. :) And right now I'm listening to Wet Sand by the Red Hot Chili Peppers... the song that has my all-time favorite quote that's the name of my blog "I'm motivate by the lack of doubt...." It's a fantastic last day of spring break!

SPRING! Again!
It's finally spring again and a high of 74 degrees today... with snow in the forecast for tomorrow. Damn. Oh well, welcome to Utah! My spring break has been pretty awesome, even with working 21 hours in 3 days. I haven't gotten too much running in unfortunately, which is going to come back to bite me in the long run (no pun intended haha) but it's all good.
As you can maybe figure out, I thought I'd write this post in pretty spring colors. I can't believe there are only 5 more weeks of school. Time goes by fast these days and I love it!! Oh I wanted to mention I have made a couple more really good friends who I absolutely love. It is so nice to finally have someone to talk to about life and relate to and laugh with and who I feel like I can truely be myself around. You three know who you are and I appreciate your friendship more than you know J, C, and E. :) Well, back to homework I guess... Later!
So the University has a new student group this year called Talk. I'll Listen. and it's made so students know there's always somebody to talk to that will listen without bias. Because of the high suicide rates of young adults, they are striving to reach out to those in emotional need and encourage friendships. Anyways, I think it's great that our University has a group like this, especially cause it's close to home for me; it's a group I wish was here last year so I could've used it as a resource. I'm working on getting involved and getting set up to be trained to be a member and team leader. I still have yet to get in contact with the creator and leader, but the more I think about it, the more I SO want to get involved and give back, especially after my own hardship. I love to listen and I'm still not the best at the talking part, after 19 years of keeping to myself, it's been a very different, but such a relieving change. I also haven't gotten into being very involved with the University so this would be beneficial and fulfill that part of my wanting to be involved. (Wow I've said "involved" a lot in this paragraph haha I guess I ought to pull up a thesaurus.) Oh! And I also want to become a part of this group because I feel like I am a good listener and I'm not judgmental, but I genuinely care. AND because I've always thought about doing something like this with my Sociology major so I'm hoping be involved will help me figure out if this is something I want to pursue. Okay, sorry to ramble on... If your interested and want to know more, they do have a website: http://www.talkilllisten.org/ Check it out! :)

March 1st!!
It's March 1st... already, oh my gosh time flies! Today has shaped up to be such a fabulous day. I learned that it only takes 15 minutes to jog to Smiths and 25 minutes to power walk back and now I'm just hanging out and watching Friends... life is GOOD.

Deprived
I have been so sleep deprived the past couple of weeks... I wish I had like two whole days I could just sleep. I'm also exercise deprived and have been so very dehydrated. No wonder my way body's off...
Today I'm officially a "Drew-ette!" More on that tomorrow... too tired to explain at the moment. Oh and I'm also so f*ckin' excited for this weekend! More on that later too... Night!

Low Quota?
Wow it's been awhile since my last blog... For whatever reason I was not in the mood to physically speak to anyone today. Weird huh? I wanted to be around people and engaged in people, but not say a word. My talking quota today must have been seriously low...
I have been in the mood for a dance party. Why? I dunno. Not a huge drunken dance party (though those are SO much fun), just a few friends, all hanging out and dancing around in whatever to some great tunes! I also have been in the mood for a glass of wine... haha A bold, fruitful Cabernet Sauvignon just sounds incredibly delightful. Mmm but what's a girl to do?

Running, driving, Buhler, Ian... "oh my gosh!," BOOM
I got in a car accident today. And I just thank God no one was hurt. I'm still pretty shaken up about it and I'm already super sore... but I have a lot to be thankful for! I just can't believe we were doing everything right, and somehow BOOM those cars were completely stopped right in front of us. None of the three of us saw it coming... I just want A not to worry about us, we'll all be fine! I hope I sleep good tonight.

New Music
I got hooked up with some great new music over the weekend! The first two are local Salt Lake bands from Kyle: Royal Bliss and Broke City. I'm absolutely LOVING Broke City! They have a good variety of songs and I caught on to them way faster than I expected to. I'm also really enjoying Britney's Circus. Ashtan and I were listening to it in her car and it really is a FANTASTIC workout song! I love it! Then Bao has The Kooks on his blog and I really liked them, I think I'm going to have to buy their albums here soon... I love new music!
Today is gorgeous out! It's clear and sunny and luckily pretty warm! Thank goodness.... I hope spring is on its way. I'm ready for the cold and snow to be gone til next year. Happy Groundhog Day!
